Developed by Philip Coombes with one goal in
mind. That of pairing client companies with talented highly qualified candidates
to form successful business relationships producing winning results.
After years of frustration with the expense
associated with wrong placement candidates Phil developed a process which
targets and matches both company and candidate needs. The perfect match approach over
the 'hit and miss' technique many of today's recruitment firms are known for.
Not only must the candidate's CV/resume need to fit the companies’ requirements, the
candidate’s culture, behavior, aptitude and long range goals must fit also.
The goals and personalities on each side, client and candidate, as well as
the necessary skills and background of the candidate must match to form a
successful union.
We think everyone can agree that a company’s
single biggest asset and expense is its people. A wrong fit can easily cost
the company several times the individual's annual salary and has the
potential to create an unfavorable environment which extends far beyond the
one person.
In our experience the failing of many recruitment
firms is they look only to the candidate's education and professional
backgrounds which we feel is the job half done. At WoM Recruitment ltd. we
have found our list of 6 rather than 2 crucial areas to be 'must fits';
-
Education
-
Professional background
-
Candidate Goals
-
Culture
-
Aptitude
-
Behavior
Over the years this process has enabled finding
people who are good at the job and good for the company, not just good at
being interviewed.
We work closely with each candidate ensuring they know
as much as possible about the company and the position for which their being
put forward as is possible. One more step in our process to insure a good
match for both client and candidate alike.
We are experts at helping companies identify and find the winning talent and
behavior combination their business requires. The necessary time is
invested at the beginning of the process to not only identify our clients
requirements for filling the position but also creating a profile of the 'right'
type of person to blend with their company culture and goals. A carefully
constructed advertisement is then
produced to attract this 'right' type of person and the search and selection
process, including a specific process of exercises to help identify the 'right'
candidate for that particular company, begins.
It isn't our job to make your placement process more difficult. It's our job to
make it more efficient, cost effective and successful.
